Acupuncture and Chiropractic charges from August 2022
Visit fee: £10 callout and 90p a mile
First acupuncture/chiropractic treatment (please allow 2 - 3 hours) £320
This is a very comprehensive assessment that will include:
- Contacting your vet to obtain the case history
- Examining available x-rays, scans and blood test results
- Discussion of previous and current problems
- Assessment in hand, on the lunge and under saddle
- Palpation
- Motion palpation (chiropractic assessment)
- First acupuncture and/or chiropractic treatment
- A detailed report for you and your vet
A dental inspection is no longer included in the assessment. With the advances in modern dentistry a comprehensive examination requires specialist equipment, considerable time and often requires sedation of the horse. If possible this should be completed and any problems dealt with before my first assessment.
