Nutty
Nutty is a 23 year old retired racehorse with severe arthritis in his hocks and fetlocks. He came to me for acupuncture to see if it could ease his generalised stiffness and relieve the severe and painful spasm of his back muscles. The condition was very longstanding, but after 5 acupuncture treatments at weekly intervals, his back was much less painful and he trotted up sound. Nutty then had treatments at 6 week intervals for a while and eventually the interval was increased to every 4-6 months.
