British Dressage
December 2007
I found this book extremely user-friendly. You dont need to know whats wrong to look it up!
Section one is concerned with forms of preventive medicine, followed by a detailed analysis of the myriad ills which afflict equus. There follows a section on therapies including those of an alternative nature. Finally we learn about the practicalities of insurance, second opinions, prohibited substances and travel stress.
733 pages, 25 chapters of FACTS. Its not a cheap buy, but a must for bookshelf and stable.
